About Me

Maggie Henderson is a speechwriter and communicator who has partnered with a long list of prominent principals over a nearly 20-year career, including two U.S. Senators, university presidents, the president of the largest labor federation in the world, non-profit leaders, activists, and a Golden Globe-winning actor.

Maggie is currently writing for a leader at a financial regulator, helping the principal give voice to her efforts to advance audit quality and ensure investors are protected from another financial disaster like Enron.

Maggie's work has appeared in publications like The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, The Associated Press, The Los Angeles Times, and The Cleveland Plain Dealer, among many others. Her words have been heard by audiences from the floor of the U.S. Senate, the National Press Club, the World Economic Forum at Davos, and the 2016 Democratic National Convention, as well as from the studios of NBC News, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN.

Maggie graduated from Grove City College and, after many years in Washington, D.C, lives in the woods of Northeastern Ohio with her family. When she's not writing or spending time with her young family, you can find her traveling, running, or attempting to garden.
